Exam
You don't need a special exam before your cat’s spay or neuter surgery. Our vet will check your cat on the day of surgery, and it’s included in the cost. If you're not sure if your cat is male or female, schedule it as a female.
Requirements for Surgery
- Gender: If unsure, schedule as female.
- Age and Weight: Cats must weigh at least 2 lbs. and be at least two months old.
- Carriers & Transport: Use a hard plastic carrier for each cat. No cardboard carriers. It's not safe to carry cats in your arms, on a leash, or loose in the car.
- Health Status: We can’t operate on cats that are sick with things like a cold or ringworm. Tell us if your cat has any health issues.
- Pregnancy, Heat, and Nursing Kittens: Cats in heat or pregnant can be spayed if the vet says it’s okay. Nursing cats can be spayed once their kittens are eating on their own (about 6-8 weeks old).
Scheduling Surgeries
We offer low-cost surgeries to help our community. Due to high demand, our services often book up several weeks in advance. If not appointments are available online, it means we are fully booked. Schedule a surgical appointment today to secure your spot. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
New appointments open every Tuesday-Friday at 9:00 AM. We suggest checking the website regularly for openings. Like many clinics, we are very busy, but we are committed to providing affordable care.

We help manage the feral cat population through TNR. A feral cat is defined as being wild, unsocialized to humans, and not handleable.
The Feral Cat Package costs $99.00 and includes:
- Physical exam
- Spay or neuter surgery
- Rabies and FVRCP vaccines
- Dewormer and flea treatment
- Ear tip (a small mark on the ear to show the cat has been fixed)
This package is for feral cats, who might not see a vet again. You don't need a special exam before your cat’s spay or neuter surgery. Our vet will check your cat on the day of surgery, and it’s included in the cost. All TNR cats should be scheduled as a female, so that we save time and supplies in case a male is actually a female.
Scheduling
TNR appointments can be
scheduled online. Please see the financial assistance section for contact information if you can't afford TNR. For safety, all feral cats must come in humane cat traps, there are no exceptions.
