We want to adopt a pet! What steps should we take before coming into the shelter?

Thank you for considering adoption! We are excited to help you find the perfect four-legged addition to your family.

Please fill out the online Adoption Questionnaire located in RESOURCES under the FORMS tab.

Or email us at for a pdf version of the questionnaire.

If you are unable to complete the online Adoption Questionnaire you can always fill out the application at the adoption center during your visit.

If you have questions regarding adoption, please visit the Before I Adopt FAQ page.

About Adoptable Cats

Please click on their name in the box below to see more information about them.

What is pre-adoption?

Pre-adoption is performed when a cat or kitten has not been spayed or neutered yet, but a family would like to adopt them. Once the spay or neuter surgery is completed the cat or kitten can then go home. We try our best to get all of our adoptable cats and kittens’ photos taken and put online, however, there are always some young kittens in foster care that are not yet on the website. Please inquire at the adoption center if you are interested in a specific color, age or gender of cat or kitten and our staff will try to find you the perfect match.
