Our Spay & Neuter Clinic surgeon will perform a physical exam on the morning of your pet's surgery to make sure your pet is safe for the procedure. If your cat is sick or has been sick, the surgeon may decide that it is not safe to do surgery that day. If that happens, we will ask you to visit a full-service veterinary hospital for care before your cat can be spayed or neutered with us. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client, for any reason.
IMPORTANT INFO! If you qualify for our financial aid, PLEASE DO NOT USE the online scheduling, instead you will email us at surgery@sfof.org to schedule an appointment.
If you qualify for financial aid, but choose to use the online scheduling system, you will be charged full price for surgery and your deposit will not be refunded. The online surgery scheduling system is NOT for scheduling financial aid surgeries.
Due to high demand, appointments often book several weeks in advance. If none are available online, we are fully booked. New surgery appointments open Tuesday–Friday at 9:00 AM—please check the website regularly. Like many clinics, we are very busy but remain committed to accessible, affordable care. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
